New notice board on village green

The long awaited notice board was erected on the village green last week. The facility will house parish council notices, and there is a public panel that is unlocked so community events can be advertised.

Thanks to Aberford Badminton Club for providing funds, which with the top up donation from the parish council have made this possible.

Bulbs planted around the village

Jane Wheeler from the Parish Council successfully applied for a grant for bulbs from Leeds City Council. 5 large sacks of bulbs were planted at all entrances into the village by kind volunteers below, so next spring the village should be an even brighter place to come into.
