Fred Hayton and his longest runner bean!

Fred Hayton and his longest runner bean. Fred had sadly passed away now but this wonderful picture shows him with the runner bean he grew to win the "Longest runner bean" class in the Aberford Horticultural Society summer show. The bean was measured at 26.75" and went on to appear in national shows.
